The Bass Singer

Basic Facts

I am a professional musician, as was my Dad before me. I am creative with music and words and I enjoy solving problems. I always see more than one solution to any problem and usually it's a humorous one. I have my Masters Degree in Education and have over 38 years experience teaching in public school. I am also a principal cellist in a local orchestra. I have created three levels of curriculum for teaching beginning string students; and have used them to prepare elementary students for continuing success in junior high orchestra.

I have performed at Carnegie Hall(Sac.Choral Society/Orchestra) and the Governor's Mansion(with my cello trio); and I have sung on stage in the Music Man with John Davidson (July 1991-Sacramento Music Circus) and with Dan Truhitte in various local productions before he filmed Sound of Music Dan Truhitte (from the Sound of Music). Currently I sing in a local chorus, and in a barbershop quartet, and arrange music for my cello trio (http://cellosound.blogspot.com)
